Where do I begin? I have hundreds of people to thank and I can’t name them all here. I can however give one big thank you to everyone who supported me and donated their time to help the campaign succeed. From my brother who took photos of me riding on a rainy day in October for the first version of the website, to the tourists in RVs that stopped along the Alaska Highway to offer me food and
water without me asking – even for an optimistic person like myself, my expectations for the help I would receive were greatly surpassed.
I want to extend a special thank you to all those who were involved in the stories. These were people that, instead of ignoring my calls and emails, selflessly stepped up to the plate
to see how they could help. They were instrumental in finding the good news stories and organizing the logistics of my arrival in their town. Without people like them, there would most certainly have been no Campaign for Good News. I think it’s an extremely pleasing fact to know that there are people like them out there.
My fondest memory of this experience has been meeting the incredible people who in one way or another supported my campaign. You don’t often hear about people like them on the news, but they are out there. They are most certainly out there.
